Workday is an innovative, internationally-renowned cloud solution used by numerous Fortune 500 companies and prestigious institutions such as Yale, Brown, and Georgetown University. Accessing Workday is simple and begins by logging into MyUTampa, and selecting the Workday icon.

Registration Information

Access Workday via MyUTampa to register for all registration periods. 

New UT students receive orientation information and instructions on how to register for classes through SpartanStart  after they submit an application and are admitted.

Faculty and Staff Training

Training is typically delivered in person and via Zoom. They are designed to meet the following needs:

  • Workday Student: Training opportunities for Workday Student-related training will also be announced and also available via the faculty and staff training opportunities wiki page.
  • New Functionality (HCM/Finance): New functionality may be related to an implementation or new features Workday releases for a module the University already owns/uses. Functional departments at the University will be offering training sessions in varying formats (e.g. online, in person) and different dates/times.
  • Refresher/New Employee: Whether you're new to the University or you've been here for years and just need a refresher on how to perform certain functions in Workday, we'll be offering recurring trainings several times per year.
