The Information Technology and Security organization encompasses the Information Technology Operations , Information Security and Enterprise Solutions departments. We are dedicated to delivering excellent customer service while partnering with campus organizations to enhance and optimize their use of technology resources to meet business and academic objectives.

The Information Technology and Security Service Desk provides support to students, faculty and staff with assistance tailored to each group’s specific needs.
The Information Security team provides a multi-faceted security awareness and data protection program to help provide the UT community with training and resources to promote safe computing.
Campus Media Services handles audio-visual support for events and provides faculty with assistance utilizing audio visual equipment in labs and classrooms.

Enterprise Solutions

Enterprise Solutions supports University departments and the new ERP system through development of innovative and streamlined business processes.

ITS Operations

IT Operations provides support and ensures availability of IT related services including the Service Desk, Media Services, infrastructure, network, telecom, web and lab services.

Academic Solutions supports instructors and students in the use of academic technology such as SpartanLearn (powered by Canvas), VidGrid, Zoom and more.

Information Security

Information Security strives to deliver and maintain an integrated information security program that safeguards the University’s information assets.

Media Services

Media Services offers a broad range of audio, video, training and presentation services. The primary focus is the support of instructional technology in the classroom.
